On January 8, 2020, the Office of Strategic Health Initiatives and UH President David Lassner hosted the “UHealthy Hawaiʻi Partners New Year’s Celebration” at College Hill. This event brought together UH health sciences leaders, community partners, and friends of the UHealthy Hawaiʻi initiative to network and share priorities for collaborative action in 2020. Guest speakers: Rep. Della Au Belatti (Hawaiʻi State House of Representatives Majority Leader), Rep. John Mizuno (Hawaiʻi State House of Representatives Chair of Committee on Health), Dr. Bruce Anderson (Director of Hawaiʻi State Department of Health), and Dr. Judy Mohr Peterson (Administrator of Hawaiʻi Med-QUEST Division).
